How the site runs
Every trading evening, ArthaNiti collects official end-of-day market data, checks it, calculates every score on our own server and publishes the updated site. Nothing is typed in by hand, and nothing is live or intraday.
Where the data comes from
- Index levels and total-return history: NSE Indices (niftyindices.com)
- Latest close of all NSE indices: NSE archives
- ETF closing prices, volumes and traded value: NSE and BSE bhavcopy
- ETF list, NAV, AUM, expense ratio, tracking error: AMFI NAVs and indiapassivefunds.com
- Stocks inside each index; P/E, P/B, dividend yield: NSE Indices
- REITs and InvITs: Yahoo Finance
Common questions
Is the data real-time?
No. ArthaNiti uses official end-of-day closing data, updated every trading evening at 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM IST. Each ETF page links to NSE for the live iNAV.
Can I check the numbers myself?
Yes. Every input is a published official close, and the Strategy Lab's Proof sheet shows every check, number and rank behind each pick on any day.
Who decides the scores and picks?
Nobody by hand. Fixed, published rules are applied to the data, the same for every index, ETF and visitor.
